On October 26, 1957, Mark Walters entered this world. Fifty years later, the world has never been the same. To celebrate this milestone, I planned a surprise party for Mark, which he knew nothing about, hence a "surprise." To pull this off, I set up a bogus corporate show at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre. I sent fake show orders, contacted the cast, loaded in props that would never be used. Meanwhile many friends and family were already at the theatre.
The plan was to start the show with one of our signature sketches and in the middle of it, yell out surprise. It worked like a charm:
